What is Biological Control?

Biological Pest Control is the use of natural predators, parasites,  etc to control pests, without the use of chemical pesticides. Different predators target different sets of pests. It might seem alarming to be handling living bugs, but these tiny creatures are a part of our natural environment and (unlike chemical pesticides) are perfectly harmless to humans, pets, and children.

Increasingly commercial growers have found it not only cheaper and more effective to use Biological Control, but also more and more imperative as supermarkets are now insisting that all their produce has to be grown without the use of chemical sprays.
