While nematodes will kill most slugs, they will not kill snails or very small slugs because the hole in their 'back' is too small for the nematodes to enter. So another approach is needed to tackle these pests.

To deal with these, we have a very effective "Beer Trap" which will attract and drown them, and which will not affect any other wildlife or pets. Just fill the trap with beer (or if you have no beer, lemonade, or any sweet liquid). The Trap should be emptied daily, and the slugs are perfectly safe for compost heaps or leaving out on the bird table for birds to eat - in fact they are probably considered to be a delicacy!

Please note that this package will not fit through a letter box. If you are not going to be in, you could either pre-warn your postman what to do with it, or add a note on the Order Form for us to write instructions for the postman on the package.
